I did not receive any noti­fi­ca­tion when you post­ed this arti­cle, so the “Sub­scribe for more news!” form does­n’t seem to be work­ing, although I did get the “Thanks!” and “Wel­come to Dis­cus­sion, Not Debate” emails on Sat­ur­day (about an hour apart).

I just logged out and then sub­scribed to both “new fol­low-up com­ments” and “new replies to my com­ments” for this arti­cle, then quick­ly received both con­fir­ma­tion emails, which is good (but both emails are iden­ti­cal, which could be con­fus­ing to peo­ple but I doubt you can do any­thing about that), and I con­firmed both so you can now post a response to this com­ment and make a new com­ment below, and I’ll let you know if I receive noti­fi­ca­tions of both. Should I have to also click the Bell before post­ing to receive a noti­fi­ca­tion of a reply to this com­ment, since I already sub­scribed to “new replies to my com­ments” for this arti­cle?
